By leveraging Cyprus’s strategic location and diverse resources, the company aims to facilitate film projects ranging from local narratives to international blockbusters.
Comprehensive Services for Filmmakers
Copper Island Films offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to support every stage of film production. This includes film financing, acquisitions, facilitation, production, post-production, and location scouting. The studio acts as a crucial link, connecting filmmakers with a global network of talent and expertise. Their facilitation services are particularly valuable, streamlining the often-complex production process in Cyprus by managing permits, location access, and other logistical challenges. This allows filmmakers to dedicate their energy to the creative aspects of their projects.
Cyprus: An Emerging Filming Paradise
Cyprus itself presents a compelling backdrop for filmmaking. The island boasts a remarkable variety of picturesque landscapes, from stunning beaches and ancient towns to lush forests, majestic mountains, and modern cityscapes. This diverse scenery, combined with a favorable climate, makes it an attractive destination for any production. Furthermore, Cyprus offers attractive incentive schemes, providing cost-effective solutions for film productions and enhancing the island’s appeal.
Copper Island Films is already making its mark. The company recently opened a state-of-the-art post-production facility in Limassol’s old town, further solidifying its commitment to Cyprus.
A Portfolio of Renowned Collaborations
Despite being a new entrant, Copper Island Films has quickly established an impressive portfolio of collaborations. They’ve worked with acclaimed directors such as Ron Howard, Gus Van Sant, and Simon West. Their productions have also featured prominent actors, including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, and Ana de Armas.
Looking ahead, Copper Island Films is actively involved in several exciting upcoming projects. These include the action-comedy “Bride Hard” starring Rebel Wilson, and “Eden,” directed by the renowned Ron Howard.
